THE HISTORIC CHURCHES PRESERVATION TRUST

RIDE & STRIDE

Annual ‘Ride and Stride’ Day - Saturday 8 September 2018

All four churches in the United Benefice will be taking part in this year’s Ride and Stride event.

You can follow a route and visit each of our churches while they are open between 10.00 and 16.00 that day. Do take the opportunity to visit the other churches in the United Benefice if you have not done so before.

Find out more by going to www.hccpt.org

We need help in the form of people who will be at the churches on the day to show visitors round and we hope to serve light refreshments. Please sign up on the sheets at the back of both churches (find the one for St Mary’s inside the Information Book)

You may like to take the chance to go down to St Paul’s where they are also holding an Open Day for residents to view the plans for re-ordering the church to include a kitchenette, accessible toilet and improve accessibility.

In the evening you are invited to attend the BBQ at St Johns from 5.30pm. Tickets are £7.50 to include a drink of beer or glass of wine.

(Tickets available from Elaine Jones: 01925 753111)
